In early 2019, Grant Design Group was retained by James Richardson & Sons Ltd. to refresh their corporate office on the 30th floor of One Lombard. Included in this refresh was an intensive furniture replacement package that would be tailored to suit the executive floor and not disrupt the aesthetics that were already in place and that would remain. Flooring was also entirely replaced during this process. Boardrooms, CEO office and filing all remained as existing. After interviewing several furniture providers, First Avenue Office Furnishings was awarded the furniture contract. Grant Design Group provided furniture plans of existing and new, orchestrated the move management and retained a General Contractor to carry out the full scope of work. A full 3D visualization package was provided and all existing and new items were scheduled using Revit and BIM. The project was quite seamless and the client is extremely happy with the results. Asking the right questions led to the right solution for this particular client, which is what we strive for on each and every project.
